Rob Heuer joined Fortify College Athletics as a Consultant in October 2024. Before this role, he was the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance at Ole Miss, where he managed the Compliance Office, oversaw compliance policies, and coordinated with the Southeastern Conference on legislative matters. Heuer also played a crucial role in the Ole Miss Agent Certification program and provided support for the Next Level NIL program.
Heuer served on the NCAA Division I Interpretations Committee for four years, where he helped shape significant legislative decisions in college athletics. A 2019 graduate of the Sport Management Institute, he is actively involved with the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC), contributing over 13 years of service to various committees, including a term as Convention Committee Chair.
His previous roles include Assistant AD for Compliance at SMU, where he managed compliance operations and served as a liaison for the American Athletic Conference. Heuer also worked at the University of Akron as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance, leading compliance for 19 sports. Prior to Akron, Heuer was the Rules Education Coordinator at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Heuer started his career at Marshall University where he was initially hired as a Compliance Graduate Assistant and later promoted to Assistant Compliance Director.
Heuer holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Science in Sport Administration from Marshall University.
